Events organized by the Academy in 2006
This coming summer the Martial Arts Academy with the Academy's Chief Instructor Sensei Agis Agisilaou are organising at Arsinoe Beach Hotel, Limassol, the 2nd International Karate-Do Competition, as well as seminars in Aikido, Tai-Chi and Karate-Do.
Aikido is relatively new to Cyprus and was first introduced by Sensei Agis Agisilaou, Chief Instructor at the Martial Arts Academy with the technical assistance of Master George Stavrou.
The seminars will be taught by 4 distinguished European Martial Arts Instructors:
- Sensei George Stavrou (Aikido Chief Instructor and Examiner - over 45 years' experience)
- Sensei Vaclav Liska (Karate-do & Tai-Chi Chief Instructor - over 40 years' experience)
- Sensei Agis Agisilaou (Aikido, Karate & Tai-Chi Chief Instructor - over 25 years' experience)
- Sensei Eva Hrubcova (Karate & Tai-Chi Chief Instructor - over 20 years' experience)
Event Schedule:
1st - 3rd June: Training at the Martial Arts Academy
3rd - 4th June: Seminars at Arsinoe Beach Hotel
4th June: Demonstration by all Masters and Athletes at Arsinoe Beach Hotel
